Digital Citizenship is Citizenship

One of the Essential Skills recently focused upon from the Ministry of Education is Digital Citizenship. To assist students, parents and educators, the Ministry has developed a Framework and Continuum for supporting Digital Citizenship. Teachers are encouraged to explore resources on the I am Stronger website.
Focusing on these strategies to improve learning while matching pedagogy, content, and technological knowledge, allows a focus on teaching and learning that includes technology. The integration of the Essential Skills and Digital Citizenship is about looking at what is best for students in terms of pedagogy and curricular outcomes, then looking at how these other elements can be integrated. |
